Green Turtle Cay has been working hard ever since Dorian devastated the Abacos and the island Community on September 1st, 2019. The community has rallied together with the help of their second homeowners, international friends, and NGO'S. Green Turtle is bouncing back!
One of the first islands to get power, they have had a small head start with recovery. They have cleaned up tremendously and working hard or renovations and opening businesses back up.
Green Turtle should be applauded, like many communities throughout Abaco for their Community spirit and teamwork.
Seamless guttering was installed on homes thanks to GTC Foundation. Rebuilding of GTC’s Amy Roberts Primary School has begun. Green Turtle Club and Pineapples have announced that they are open, amongst many other businesses.
